| NatureThere is plenty to be seen during a walk through the woods.
In the way of beasts you are most likely to see squirrels in the trees and on the forest floor. You may see the occasional rabbit in the margins. If you are lucky you may spot a Muntjac Deer or fox running after being disturbed by a dog.
Birds are plentiful: e.g. blackbirds, thrushes, robins, tits, wrens, jays and carrion crows. If lucky you may spot woodpeckers and hawks.
The only residents of the few ponds seem to be frogs, newts, and the occasional visiting duck or heron. |
